WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You'll need a physical golf simulator setup running GSPRO software. GSPRO is the simulation platform the entire league plays on — all shot data, course play, and scoring runs through it.
An official launch monitor with a live connection to GSPRO is required. This ensures consistent, verified ball data across the entire field.
You'll need an active account on Simulator Golf Tour throughout the entire season. The SGT website also has full details on how to sign up and get started.
Your SGT COMBO handicap needs at least 20 rounds posted before the season begins. No cramming — don't try to post a bunch of rounds right before the season starts. The admin team monitors handicap activity.
All league communication — stream links, scheduling, results, and admin announcements — happens in the SGT Discord server. You'll need to be active there throughout the season.
Every round must be streamed live on YouTube and the link shared in Discord before you tee off. If you haven't streamed before, Google's YouTube live streaming guide is a good place to start. See the streaming section below for the full league requirements.
HANDICAPPING
We use SGT's COMBO handicap system, which looks at up to 48 rounds from the last 6 months. How many of those rounds count toward your handicap depends on how many you've logged — the more rounds you have, the more scores factor in. You can find the full breakdown on the SGT handicap page. On top of that, if you're newer to the platform, a small adjustment is applied to keep the competition fair:
Each week, the field is also normalized so the best player in the field plays to scratch (0 handicap), with everyone else adjusting relative to them. This keeps the competition balanced regardless of skill level.
STREAMING REQUIREMENTS
Streaming is how we keep the league honest and accountable. Every player is required to go live on YouTube before their round starts and share the link in the league's Discord channel.
If you forget to start your stream, you can replay the round — but your worst score will count. Technical issues are reviewed by the admin team case by case. Rounds played without a valid stream, or with missing data tiles, may be disqualified from that week's competition.
